Penny

There is a very shiny '57 wheat ear penny in the headstock, hence the name. "Penny has the "traditional" cigar box guitar look with that headstock, antique style latches, and a sound to match.

Built on a deep Tabak cigar box this has a full bodied sound that covers all the nice tone words - warm, woody, complex, rich, bluesy, buttery, responsive. That P90 picks all of that up when you plug it on and you can trim things and dial in the best of it all with the tone and volume controls. Other features include laser-cut f-holes, hard maple neck toped with rosewood and a maple truss rod cover, brass and gold hardware, and a Puretone output jack.

Strung with 46/36/26 gauge strings and tuned to DAD.

Serial number 2509053, handcrafted in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
