Julep

Sweet, refreshing, minty green - with a kick. That's Julep.

This cigar box guitar is built on a minty green hexagonal Plasencia box with hardware shiny and chrome. The electrics are simple with a single volume control and a puretone output jack, all housed in the lid. This neck base is my thinnest to date, made from maple and topped with rosewood. The result is a compressed, balanced tone with just a touch of growl which comes through either acoustically or through the single coil pickup.

This is garnished with a laser-cut truss rod cover and a dash of mint that is laser engraved in the headstock and is served with a tall 25.5" full length scale string with Ernie Ball strings tuned to DAD.
