Elvira
What started as a plain pine box has been transformed into a mistress of the dark. "Elvira" features four strings, a responsive P90, a pair of firm yet supple reverb springs, and a ton of purple attitude.
The neck is black dyed sugar maple with a rosewood fingerboard. The headstock is custom carved with a bat perched on top of four black tuners and a bone nut. Inside of the box is walnut base with a death's head moth medallion which add balance and weight to the overall build - you'll also find reverb springs running under the P90 for a bit of added depth and reverb and a laser engraved nameplate. Copper shielded tone and volume controls lead to a Puretone output jack and everything is finished with flashes of dyed black and iridescent purples.
The tone is super clean and responsive with punch and lots of sustain and just the right amount of bite for distortion. While this is primarily built for electric play, four soffited soundholes allow for acoustic playing in intimate settings.
