Desert Rose

Introducing "Desert Rose" - if you know the song by Sting you'll know where the name came from. It fits.

Well, that and it's a "Leather Rose" Deadwood cigar box. I properly like the Deadwood boxes so have moved the art from lid to bottom to keep it pretty. Other touches on this inline three-string build include black velvet trim, an eyecatching cigar tax stamp just below the bridge, vintage knobs from a disused guitar amp, and an amaranth truss rod cover.

This guitar also has black hardware with bronze hinges and latches, an Alnico V humbucker, copper shielding for the tone and volume controls, and a Puretone output jack for a nice, warm, and direct sound. This is all strung with Ernie Ball strings and currently tuned to DAD.
