Blackheart
This is is a bright and shimmery build with a dark heart.
This instrument has a pine box body with bare wood sides and white fascia ringed with chrome rivets front and back. The headstock also has a white face with a black laser cut truss rod cover. Other exterior touches are a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, bone nut, black, white, and chrome hardware, and a spicy, responsive humbucker that really catches the natural tone and kicks it up to another level.
Inside the box is black with blackened walnut and black dyed pine. In the center like a silvery pool is a death head moth medallion resting on the walnut backing. It's properly striking.
The tone on this is probably best described as cuttingly crisp with a lot of presence, and it's extremely easy to plug this in and dig into a very tele-style sort of tone. It's nice. Seriously, I am properly tempted to keep this one for my own self, but that wouldn't be fair to y'all so I'll settle for strumming it until it fins a new home.
Strung with 36/26/17 D'Addario strings and tuned to GDG.
